Science for Pets is a new venture founded by an experienced and fully qualified vet, built upon years of research and hands-on expertise within the veterinary industry. The brand focuses on thoughtfully formulated pet supplements offering a Tri-Biotic designed to support and maintain balance within dogs’ gut and overall health.

The project
The brief was to create a brand identity that could confidently cut through the crowded pet wellness market - positioning Science for Pets as a clear, credible, and science-led pet supplements brand. The goal was to move away from the overly playful clichés often seen within the market and instead develop a no-fuss, no-nonsense brand that communicated trust, expertise, and genuinely effective support for pets.
At Blue Bee, I led the creative direction of this project from the ground up - shaping the brand name and strap-line, brand identity and positioning, developing the logo concept, and crafting a bold packaging system designed to stand out within a highly competitive market. Alongside this, I curated the photography styling brief to ensure every visual touchpoint felt cohesive and distinctive, before translating the brand into a polished website UI concept that carried the same confident, science-led personality across the digital experience.

Design challenges
The biggest challenge for this project was standing out in an overcrowded and highly competitive market. Many other brands were making similar claims, but few could match the veterinary expertise and scientific credibility behind Science for Pets. The task was to position the brand in a way that immediately communicated authority, trust, and confidence in the product, while also creating a modern, aspirational identity that resonates with a young, professional audience.
The monochromatic palette, elevated by a striking yellow accent, introduced a boldness that wasn't often associated with the pet supplement category. While the high-contrast design created strong shelf impact, maintaining consumer trust and emotional connection was equally important. To achieve this balance, the photography became a central element of the identity. I developed a carefully curated photography brief that resulting in a packaging design system that felt both clinically credible and genuinely caring.

The outcome
Feedback from Science for Pets throughout the branding and packaging process was overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing that the creative direction successfully captured the brand’s vision from the outset. The final outcome delivered a cohesive brand experience across every touchpoint, creating a strong foundation for future growth while keeping pet wellbeing at the heart of the brand.
